If you’re anything like I was, then you’re probably sick and tired of your weight seemingly ruling your life, I wanted to be able to have fun at the beach with the kids, go out for a nice meal with the family and wear whatever I wanted without feeling totally self-conscious….Other people would say it’s our own fault and in most cases its true, but it doesn’t mean we can’t do something about our arm fat though….
5 Stages to losing arm fat – This will also apply to losing belly fat, how to lose body fat in general really.
- Stage 1 – Don’t listen to people that say you have to starve yourself to lose arm fat, by eating 5 or 6 smaller meals rather than 3 large ones, it helps regulate blood sugar levels and suppresses our appetites and keeps our metabolism going strong. You should try to make the meals as low in salt and sugar as possible. Starving yourself is not the best way to lose arm fat.
- Stage 2 – Don’t listen to people that tell you the best way to lose arm fat is by lifting small weights… It simply is not true… the only real thing lifting small weights will do is tone your arm muscles… toned muscles are useless if they are hidden by arm fat.
- Stage 3 – Don’t listen to people that tell you counting the calories is the best way to lose weight. In fact eating more of fat burning foods can be one of the most useful fat loss tips out there, after all it’s not just how much you eat that makes you fat, it’s what you eat. Not all fat is bad. Eating certain foods releases hormones that help burn arm fat…. and others that make you more likely to store fat. The same is true of different exercise techniques, to release different fat burning hormones. The bad guys when it comes to hormones are Estrogen, Insulin and Cortisol.
- Stage 4 – Don’t listen to people that tell you can target certain areas to get rid of arm fat. People that say this are lieing… You cannot pick and choose which parts of the body you lose fat from, nor can you choose were its stored, unfortunately. That is why you may lose thigh fat quite quickly but to lose upper arm fat may take longer.
- Stage 5 – Don’t listen to people that tell you health foods or supplements work or help you lose weight quickly. So-called health foods often only get their ‘healthy branding’ because they are low in fat, never mind all the other ingredients that will turn into fat once you’ve eaten it. There is no sense in overloading your body with a bunch of weight loss pills if you are not following the essential principles of healthy living, after all, supplements aren’t a miracle cure, they are there to supplement, however they are not all bad, a good example though being omega 3 fish oils, which I have each morning, the benefits of fish oils are endless.
There’s a reason why all you hear about are all the fad diets everyone has been on….. it’s because it’s rare anybody finds one that works.

Before we start we all know the health problems related with being overweight (mainly because it always being shoved down our throat and how we’ve got to do something about it before it’s too late):
- Heart disease
- Organ Failure
- Diabetes
And too many more to name….
The answer to the problem I always used to get was ‘eat less and do more exercise’, but as I’m sure you know, it’s not that simple.
You need to know what things you should be eating and what exercises you should be doing to give you the best chance to burn arm fat and lose belly fat… any fatloss really.
But I found there was so many fatloss tips out there which were totally wrong and misleading, the number of so called experts telling us we can’t have this, we can’t have that , starving ourselves, when all that happens is that the weight just piles all back on once we come off it, and feel lousy the whole time were on their so-called fat loss program.

Hey, Linda Miller here,
I’ve been battling with obesity for most of my life.
After searching and searching for ways to lose arm fat, and weight loss in general for that matter, I struggled to find any real helpful information or solution (other than ‘do press-ups’ or ‘lift weights’) .
So I thought I would create this website to help all those people in the same position I was and share all the tips and solutions I have picked up along the way about losing arm fat.
I’ll share with you the ups, the downs, what stuff didn’t work and finally the one thing that did help me achieve my personal goal of permanent fat loss.
